My name is Tobias but everybody calls me Tobi. I am 18 years old and come from the town of Bremen in Germany.
Bremen is a maritime city which is really important for my hobby sailing. I have sailed my whole life as have the rest of my family.
I live with my mother in Bremen as my parents are divorced. My father lives in Hamburg close to the water with my youngest brother Malte.
My other 15-year-old brother Christian is a regular teenager and does all the typical things which they do! I go to “SZ Grenzstraße” and really enjoy studying economics and sports. Mathematics is a subject which I don’t really understand because it’s very complex and technical.

I really like friendly and spontaneous people with an open mind. In my free time I meet up with my friends, listen to music and go to concerts or parties. My favourite styles of music are rock and house.
In the future I want to live in California for half a year in order to improve my English. After that I intend to study navigation and become the captain of a large container ship and transport thousands of containers between America and Europe.

I have become a member of this project because I really like to meet other people with different styles, from other cultures, with new hobbies and who speak foreign languages. By the way I like to travel to countries where I never been before. And finally, I enjoy making friends all over the world! I will be in touch soon!

My name is Leif.
My personality in 3 words: nice, open-minded and helpful.
Now some details about myself.
I was born in Achim but live in a district of Achim called Baden with my parents. My grandma lives next door. I also got a brother who is studying in Cologne, maybe you will see him. Besides I also got a cat named Viktor. In my free time I hang out with my friends, meet my girlfriend, listen to music (like practically everyone) or just do one of my hobbies like fitness, driving go-kart (not often) or fishing. My favourite food is a cutlet with a special sauce together it’s called “Jägerschnitzel” with croquettes and red cabbage.
First my dislikes: I don’t like lies, dishonest and slandering people. On the other side I like honest, truthful people and people on whom you can count on.
In our school, SZ-Grenzstraße, my favourite subjects are Spanish, English and Sports. I like these subjects, because I like talking in different languages and Sports if it isn’t athletic sport or running.
In my Easter holidays I often travelled to Switzerland, because I skied there. I like skiing, because it makes fun and you have a wonderful view from the top of the mountains. I also travelled to other countries, but I’m looking forward to going to countries were I’ve never been, like Spain which I prefer.
I have no future plans at the moment. First I want to finish school with good marks.
My motivation for this project is to get knowledge of people who live in different cultures.

My name is Lisa Katrin. I am 19 years old and I come from Achim that's a small town near Bremen. I live in Achim in a house with my parents and my big brother. His name is Ole and he is 22 years old. Also we have a dog, his name is Barnie. In my spare time I like to play with him also I love to meet my friends, go to the disco, listen to music (in particular rock) and I like to read books.

I am 17 years old and was born in Germany. I am an open-minded, friendly and polite person.
I`ve got two sisters, one is older, the other younger than me. I live together with the younger one, my mother, her boyfriend and our cat. In my spare time I like to go thai boxing and in the summer riding speed boats. Another passion of me is food. I prefer dishes with meat like "Rinderbraten" to eat. Due to my food passion I am interested in nutrition.
I am active in the Schüler Union which is a political organisation for students and their imagination how school has to be like.
My favourite music is made by German artists like K.I.Z., Kollegah or Rammstein. My favourite subject is English because I am good in it and I like the sound when Americans speak it.
I dislike arrogance, furtiveness and people without intentions.
Special countries I visited are China and the USA. I visit my father in France twice a year.
In my future I`d like to become teacher one day.

My name is Janina. I am 16 years old and come from Bremen, a city in Germany. At the moment I attend SZ Grenzstraße. It’s a school of economics.
I am always happy and I laugh a lot. I like to help people, so I guess am helpful.
I love to play tennis. Since I have been seven years old I have played this game and it’s my favourite sport.
Moreover I like to meet my friends, to cook with them, to go shopping and to watch dvds. My favourite country is Spain, because I was there a few times and I like the language. My foreign language skills are Spanish and English.
My favourite music is R´n`B, House and Pop.
My dislikes are to wake up early in the morning. Moreover I don´t like when people act bitchy.
I’m sociable and I like to get to know new people. In addition I’m even-tempered and reliable. Sometimes I’m a little bit moody but it´s not a distinct feature of me.
I live with my family in Bremen. I have a sister and she’s eleven years old.

Well, my future...I wanted to be a tennis star but it’s too late to become one. I must see realistically in the future. Maybe I want to study, maybe not. I don’t know yet. Definitely later I want to have a job, where I earn much money☺!

My motivation for the COMENIUS project:
I think it is a very good idea to work on a project with other pupils from different countries. I’m interested in this project and very happy to start.

Profile Hendrik

My name is Hendrik and I am 18 years old. Let me begin by describing myself in a few words. I’m a self-confident, open-minded, comunicative and friendly person.
My hobbies are various sports, hanging out with my friends and reading magazines about politics and the economy. I like every kind of sport; especially soccer and swimming. Despite that I’m a member of a gym, which is very close to the house where I live.
I earn my pocket money with a job at the Weser Stadium. That is the stadium, where the matches of the profesional soccer club of our town, Werder Bremen take place. On the one hand I sell bread there and I earn money and on the other hand I’m able to watch the matches of the club. That’s why I love the job.
I listen to a lot of different kinds of music and I prefer black- and house music.
At our school I am interested in subjects like maths and economics, but I also like English. I already participated at a school exchange program called GLS, where I stayed one year in the USA. I became a lot more mature and independent. In addition to that foreign language I also got skills in French.
I live with my parents in a house in Bremen, which is close to the Bürgerpark, which is a beautiful big park in Bremen. My grandmother was born in France and my mother is also able to speak the language perfectly.
I’m actively involved in a MUN-Project . MUN is the abrevation for Model United Nations. It is a simulation of the UN, where a lot of different schools from Germany participate. I like the project, because it is relatively close to reality.
In the future I want to study at an university in a different town or even a different country, because I want to discover a lot of new “places”.
My motivation for the COMENIUS project is to get to know interesting people from other countries with a different culture and attitudes and to give the other people the chance to stay at my house.

My personality: open-minded, truthful, cheerful
First of all I’d like to introduce myself: I am 17 years old and my birthday is on the 05.07.1991.
I am German, but my dad comes from Hungary, so I got many relatives in Hungary.
My parents are still living together and have been married for 19 years now. I’ve got a little sister, she is 9 years old.
I am a very committed, young man in school, especially in English. I went to London for almost a month in a host family and to Canada for half a year, in order to do an exchange project.
I am a very open-minded person, so I don’t mind to get into another family and to experience new cultures!
My Hobbies:
I have been playing the guitar for almost 3 years now. I played in a band and had a lot of gigs. Then I got a singing education and started to perform and to write my own music.
Among other things, I have been playing tennis for 7 years now. I have tournaments and league games. I practice 4 times a week.
If I don’t play tennis or make music, I hang out with my friends, have some fun in a pub or just hang out at home.
Goals for the future:
My aims for the future are not really structured yet, the only thing I know is that I want to finish school as good as possible and live in an English speaking country!
I already joined the Comenius project once and it was a great experience for me that’s why I’m very keen on traveling through Europe again!

On July, the 25th I celebrated my 18th birthday.
I live with my older sister, my mother and my father in Bremen, its a town in the North of Germany.

My personality in three words:
I’m a friendly, but determined person and sometimes I’m a broad-minded person. I love to have fun with my friends because I think fun is important in life.

About me
My favourite food is noodles.
I like to listen to music, meet friends, sometimes I watch TV. Well, at the weekend you can sometimes meet me at a disco.
My hobbies are sailing, swimming, dancing and playing the guitar.
I like different kinds of music but traditional music of Germany – we call it Volksmusik – is horror for me.
At the moment I am training to become a sailing instructor; I coach sailing to teenagers and children. I have done this for one year now but I have already sailed.

School:
I go to an upper-secondary-level class (year 11) and I speak English, French (needs to be trained) and German. I have already been to France (taking part in an exchange programme) and Scotland and Denmark (in the holidays).

Future plans:
I would like to become a licensed sailing instructor.
My motivation for the COMENIUS-project is to get to know new people and learn about their countries. I think it’s a fantastic idea to communicate with other countries and learn something else.

My personality in 3 words is that I am almost always in a good mood, I am helpful and very caring.

Hi, my name is Charlene Ohlhoff. I am 16 years old and come from Bremen, it’s a federal state in Germany. At the moment I attend the school SZ Grenzstraße (year 11).

My favourite country is Japan, because I like their culture and those animes. Animes are films and series from Japan. In addition, I like to chill with my friends, go shopping, do crazy things and sometimes listen to music. My preferred music is metal, rock and J-Rock (this is rock from Japan).

What I don’t like at all are fish sticks, rise up (too) early in the morning. Plus, I don’t like mosquitoes.
Foreign languages: My foreign language skills are German, Spanish and Englisch.
I live with my brother, my mother and my stepfather in a house in Bremen near the town-centre. We have a cat and many fish.
My favourite subjects at school are Sport and History, because it’s interesting to find out how humans in earlier times lived.
I don’t know yet how I arrange my future. My future plan at the moment is to finish my final secondary-school examinations.
My talent is that I am very versatile. Plus, I am in the sports club Werder Bremen. Do you know the football league Werder??
It is interesting to meet new people and I would be glad if I could take part in the COMENIUS project. I think it is challenging to meet others and together work at a project.

Always I talk too long and my phone bill is rising and my daddy’s killing me.
My favourite food is Iskender Kebab that is from Turkey it’s with lamb meat with a kind of special yoghurt. I like to play badminton it’s my hobby but I don’t play in an association.

Hey..my name is Jessica I’m 16 years old and live with my mother, father and my twin-sister in a house in Bremen. My parents come from Poland and my whole family lives there. I have many friends there and we drive often in the holidays to my relatives.
I’m an authentic, truthful and jolly person. I like to spend the time with my friends going to the city, to cinema or going clubbing. Because I have always been a passionate dancer and enjoy dancing I started to dance hip hop in an association one year ago. Generally I like everything that has a combination with music. I am fond of listening to r’n’b or house music. For example Chris Brown, Taio Cruz or Bobby Valentino.
I can’t stand it when people are boring only sitting in their house and watching TV because I’m always on the way. I dislike rain or cold weather I love it when it is warm and sunny sitting in cafes or going to the ‘Weser’ - the he river that flows through Bremen.
I absolutely like to eat no matter if it’s sweets or not, but I’m prefering the Polish food it’s very delicious and healthy =). My favourite dish is pizza and Polish specialities like ‘Pierogi’ or ‘Ptasie Mleczko’.
I have a lovely dog his name is Samy, it’s a mini Yorkshireterrier. He’s two years old and still a baby. Small and cheeky.
My family, friends and I drive yearly to Denmark. Additionally I was in Italy, France, the Czech Republik and very often in Poland to visit my family. I would love to spend some time in Australia.
I attended 6 years a comprehensive school. I was there in a music class playing instruments and organising concerts. We had a lot of performances. At the moment I go to the ‘SZ Grenzstraße’. My favourite subjects are German and Sports.
When I have done my higher education entrance qualification I want to study and to have a good job and get on the top of a company. ☺
Besides my dream is to go for a year in another country to get some experience, to practice my English and to be independent.

Hello I'm Jennifer but everybody calls me Jenny. Born on 17th March 1992, so I'm 16 years old. I live with my parents and my two years younger brother in Bremen, near a lake with many fields. There I can play with my dog, who is now 10 weeks old. In my free time I have played volleyball in a club for five years and football, in a women team, for one year. So you can see I'm a real teamplayer and very sporty. I always want to bring my team to winning. I also like to meet my friends and laugh a lot ☺.
In my summerholidays I love to go camping with my family, but only to countries in the south. I've been to Croatia, Italy and France. There I enjoy it to chill with a book on the beach or to go by our little boat to a little remote island and stay there the whole day. In the evening I like to drink cocktails or going to a disco. I’m a person, who likes to laugh and to make other ones happy. I always try to be optimistic and always see the good side of life.
My hobbies are to read books, to play with little children, to bake or to cook and to play the piano. So I have been playing it for almost seven years. I enjoy it, because it makes me happy. And when I’m in a bad mood I just play a little bit to get better.
I go every Thursday, Friday and Sunday to Church, where I’m singing in a youth choir and playing the piano for it.
I’m glad about being good at school. My favourite subject is English, because I love the pronunciation and I like to speak English with my other relatives in the US. Furthermore I’m able to speak German, Russian and I’m learning Spanish at school.
